Just bought this for my tall son who is turning four soon. It is mostly steel except for the yellow plastic wheels. husband put it together in minutes. It does need to be assembled. Fits my son perfectly, but might be too small for a larger child. Box came beat up, but all parts and peices were intact. The plastic transformer head is just a single thick peice of plastic, but might break during a good fall. It was a good value compared to toys r' us, where everything just cost more, and I got free shipping too!
