Before purchasing I measured the circumference of my hand using a flexible tape from the heel of the palm around the area between the thumb and index finger and using Pearl Izumi's size chart I determined my hand was a large. I ordered the large size and they fit perfectly. I appreciate the absorbent material on the thumbs to wipe sweat with. To quickly remove the gloves, I use the thumb of my opposite hand placed between the glove and my palm to easily push the glove off my hand.
