Attaching the basket was a little difficult simply because I wanted to leave the foam bumper thing on the handlebar (the soft thing wrapped around the top middle portion of the handlebars with characters on it -- don't know the actual name of that thing). That meant I needed to wrap the ties farther out or around the bumper; and either way, it was a stretch. If I had removed the bumper, there wouldn't have been any problem.
