I will admit I don't know much about bike lights and I have not compared this to other products so this is just me disclaiming that before hand.

I bought this for my occasional commute at night around the city of Los Angeles and did not expect it to fully light the road but expected to light the darker spots. It would seem that it is barley noticeable on the road even in some of the dark areas but is definitely good enough for the occasional street with no street lights at least. It is however bright enough to light up the road directly in front of you ( maybe 5 feet ) so at least I can avoid pot holes in the like. The battery life seems great and people on the road definitely notice me more with this light and in that respect works great. I purchased this light for close to $30 and feel that it was more of a $20 light the build quality is great and I love the fact that it can come off the bike so that I don't have to worry about anyone steeling it, and it makes a great flashlight. Another thing I have noticed is that it is much smaller in person then it appears to be as displayed by amazon, I have posted a picture to show this.

If I knew how this light performed before hand I might have gone with a different light like maybe one of the 1 watt planet bike ones. If all you need is for people to see you this will probably work fine. Discount Ventura Universal Bicycle Carrier Rack

This bike rack claims to be universal, and it probably is. Other reviews have been critical of this product because of the difficulty in installing the product.

I didn't have any problems. You must understand that this is a universal rack, meaning one product for many bikes. You have to play with it for a bit to find the configuration that works best for your bike. Having said that, the rack is very adjustable and worked great on my schwinn ranger. I suspect it would work on most schwinn bikes.

The reason I bought this rack was because it was the cheapest rack that had the features I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase. I zip-tied a milk crate to the rack and am going to use it to haul my fishing stuff or whatever I decide needs hauled on a two-wheeler.

Have some patience, and give it a try. You will like this rack.

Cheap Under Armour Heatgear Compression Short Mens - Large

I have ordered 3 different compression shorts from Amazon - Shock Doctor, Under Armour & Nike Pro. Of the 3, Nike Pro was the WORST & Under Armour was the best.

The thickness, feel and texture of the material is the main criteria I use to judge a compression short. Nike Pro felt like paper and I could almost see thru it. The Under Armour was the sturdiest and thickest of the three. It also fitted well and I felt no stitching like I do with the Shock Doctor. The Shock Doc stitching is a little uncomfortable thought the fabric is strong.

The only dislike is the availability of colours of the Under Armour through Amazon. All I am seeing for the past month or more is black. Where is the red or royal blue?

My mother also bought the men's for herself as she wears it with no shorts over it like I do and found that the elastic waist could have been tighter on the Large Under Armour. I had no problem with the XL. The Shock Doc elastic is also a little uncomfortable but can be folded. The NIke Pro elastic waist was fine.

I tried the Fuel Belt, Nathan Belt, and Amphipod in a store before choosing the Amphipod belt.

The Nathan Belt had the most comfortable elastic band, and the bottles were easy to remove and place onto the belt. However, I didn't like the placement of the bottles as the front bottles interferred with my arm swing (on the 4-bottle belt). Even if you remove the front two bottles, the cup holster still got in my way. With the 2-bottle belt, it rode comfortably on my backside, but I couldn't reach the pouch to grab jelly bellies and goo on the run. With the bottles in front, I ran into the problem of my arms swinging into the bottles again.

The Fuel Belt was comfy, but not as comfy as the Nathan. Had the same problem as the Nathan in terms of arms hitting the bottles and not being able to access the pouch when it's situated on my back. Additional disadvantage of the Fuel Belt is that it takes two hands to place the bottles back in the holster. Also, I seem to fall between sizes where the small was too small and the medium too large.

I ended up purchasing the Amphipod b/c of its flexibility. I'm 5'3", 110 lb. Although it took a few tries to figure out how to configure the belt, I finally got it so that the bottles would stay out of the way and I could still reach the pouch to grab my jelly bellies on the run. I wish I could run with the belt on my hips, but it's much more comfortable on my waist. With it on my hips, even though I tightened it completely, it had a tendency of riding up b/c of the movement of my legs or when removing the bottles. Additionally, you could feel the weight of the bottles bouncing more with the belt around my hips (especially in the rear!). Around my waist, the rear bottles sat comfortably on the small of my back (sideways to minimize sloshing). I found that the belt stayed in place as long as I wore it just tight enough to wrap comfortably around my waist. It didn't move much b/c it naturally sat in the curve of my waist (and I don't have curves!), so I didn't feel constricted at all. It takes a little getting used to, but it's not uncomfortable at all.

Some people mentioned that it was hard to snap the bottles in and out. I found this to be extremely convenient since you can access the bottles with just one hand, allowing your other arm to maintain its swing. It takes a little practice to get the feel for it, but it was very easy to remove and replace the bottles in the holster. If you're unsure, just jiggle the bottle slightly to make sure it's locked in place. Again, you can do this all with one hand, unlike with the Fuel Belt. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I started getting into bicycling very serious last couple years. I ride over 600+ miles a month in average and later realized that I need a tool set to maintenace my bikes. I just do not like the idea leaving my bike at the LBS for couple days for maintenance because I am riding my bikes almost every other day so the timing is very important for me.

I finally drop the money to buy the set and am glad that I did because I do not need to drop my bikes off at the LBS to have the bikes tune up. There were times that I need to change the cassett and I can do that myself instead of paying $30 for the shop to do it. The regular tune up can cost around $40 a visit so overtime this tool set is paying for itself.

I commute to work about 40+ miles a day, three times a week with 60-100 miles over the weekend. Next thing you know the bikes will need to clean and tune. -- It doesn't take long for this tool to pay for itself.

I would recommand to buy "Pro Elite Bike Repair Stand" from REI if you are going to be your own merchanic. My son always like to sit next to me when I am tunning my bikes and this tool set is going to pass down to him eventually.(Think about that is a long term investment. Ha ha!)

The set has about 90% of the tool you will ever need for regular maintenance. You can buy the special tools seperate if you ever needed.
